Docente e investigador reconocido por Minciencias, Colombia. Actualmente se desempe\u00f1a como coordinador del Campo Investigativo de la Licenciatura en Lenguas Extranjeras de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Luis Amig\u00f3, en Medell\u00edn, Colombia. Es director y fundador del Centro de Idiomas Lingu Online, instituci\u00f3n dedicada a la ense\u00f1anza y aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras mediante entornos virtuales como estrategia para el desarrollo social.<\/p>\n

Es doctor en Letras por la Universidad Federal de Piau\u00ed (Brasil), mag\u00edster en Procesos de Aprendizaje y Ense\u00f1anza de Segundas Lenguas, y especialista en la Ense\u00f1anza del Idioma Ingl\u00e9s por la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. Adem\u00e1s, es comunicador social y periodista y licenciado en lenguas extranjeras con \u00e9nfasis en ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Hace parte del semillero de investigaci\u00f3n Literacy in Second Language Project (LSLP) de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana y coordina el semillero [\u00cdN] \u00cdnter\/Nos, adscrito a la Escuela de Posgrados de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Luis Amig\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Su labor investigativa se centra en los campos de la educomunicaci\u00f3n, las tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n y la comunicaci\u00f3n (TIC), la literacidad, la literacidad cr\u00edtica digital y las nuevas literacidades, con especial \u00e9nfasis en la ense\u00f1anza y el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras.<\/p>\n

Ha participado en el desarrollo de proyectos sociales orientados al aprendizaje y la ense\u00f1anza de idiomas como medio para promover la transformaci\u00f3n social en comunidades vulnerables de Colombia. A trav\u00e9s de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, especialmente las redes sociales, ha impulsado voluntariados y ofrecido clases virtuales gratuitas dirigidas a ni\u00f1os, j\u00f3venes y adultos con dificultades para acceder a la formaci\u00f3n en una segunda lengua.<\/span><\/h1>\n
